Soya Chunks Fry Recipe

Today let us learn an interesting Soya Chunks Fry recipe which can be served as a starter or as a side dish. This dish is spicy, tasty, and healthy. This dish is rich in protein and is a perfect balanced vegetarian dish. Let’s follow this recipe.
Ingredients
- 2 cupssoya chunks
- 3 tspoil
- 1 tspcumin /jeera
- 1medium sized onion, finely chopped
- 3garlic, finely chopped
- 1 inchginger, finely chopped
- 1capsicum, finely chopped
- 2 largetomatoes, finely chopped
- ½ tspturmeric powder/ haldi
- 1 tspkashmiri red chili powder/ lal mirch powder
- ½ tspcoriander powder/ dhaniya powder
- ½ tspcumin powder/ jeera powder
- saltto taste
- ½ tspamchur powder/dry mango powder
- 2 tbspcoriander leaves, finely chopped
Directions
- In a large vessel take enough water and add in soya chunks and cover with the lid and boil for 8 minutes.
- Once the soya is cooked drain off the water and transfer to a bowl of cold water and
- Allow to rest for 10 minutes and rinse multiple of times with clean water.
- Squeeze off the soya chunks to remove the absorbed water and keep it aside and make sure to squeeze water else they won’t absorb the gravy.
- In a kadhai heat oil and add cumin seeds and fry till the cumin seeds turn aromatic.
- Add finely chopped onions and fry it and also add garlic, ginger and fry till the raw smell disappears completely.
- Add finely chopped capsicum and fry for a minute and add finely chopped tomatoes and fry till the tomatoes turn soft and mushy and also add turmeric powder, chili powder, coriander powder, cumin powder and mango powder, and fry it well till the oil starts to release from the masala.
- Add soya chunks and salt and mix it nicely and cover with a lid and cook for 5 minutes Garnish with coriander leaves and serve with paratha.
