Tasty Vegetable Burger Recipe

Vegetable Burger is one of most common burger recipe that you can prepare at home very easily. Definitely, this homemade burger is better and much tastier than the one from the fast food center. Let’s follow this recipe.
Ingredients
- 6burger buns
- 6 tspmelted butter for brushing
For The Vegetable Cutlets
- 1 1/2 cupschopped and boiled mixed vegetables (french beans, carrots, and green peas)
- 1 cupboiled and mashed potatoes
- 1 tspginger-green chili paste
- 1 tsplemon juice
- 1/2 tspgaram masala
- 2 tbspcornflour
- saltto taste
- cornflourfor rolling
- oilfor deep-frying
To Be Mixed Into A Coleslaw(salad)
- 1 cupshredded cabbage
- 1/2 cupgrated carrot
- 1/2 cupmayonnaise
To Be Mixed Into A Spread
- 1/4 cupmayonnaise
- 2 tbsptomato ketchup
Other Ingredients
- 6lettuce leaves
- 6cheese slices
- 18cucumber slices
- 18tomatoes slices
- 12sliced onions
- saltand for sprinkling
Directions
For the vegetable cutlets
- In a bowl add all the vegetables, mashed potatoes, ginger- chili paste, lemon juice, garam masala, cornflour, and salt and mix it well and mash it lightly.
- Divide the mixture into equal portions and roll each portion into a 75 mm. (3”) diameter round cutlet.
- Roll the cutlets in cornflour till they are evenly coated from all the sides.
- Heat the oil in a deep non-stick kadhai and deep-fry the cutlets at a time and fry till they turn golden brown in color from all the sides and drain on an absorbent paper and keep it aside.
For the coleslaw
- In a bowl add shredded cabbage, carrot, and mayonnaise and mix it nicely and Divide the coleslaw into equal portions and keep it aside.
For the spread
- In a bowl add mayonnaise and tomato ketchup and mix it well and keep it aside.
How to proceed
- Cut each burger bun horizontally into two and apply ½ tsp of butter on the insides of each half of the burger bun and toast them lightly on a tawa (griddle).
- Apply the prepared spread on the buttered side of all the bun halves.
- Place a lower halve of the burger bun on a clean, dry surface with the buttered-spread side facing upwards.
- Place 1 lettuce leaf, a vegetable cutlet and a cheese slice over it and place a portion of the coleslaw over it, finally place 3 cucumber slices, 3 tomato slices, 2 onion slices and sprinkle a little salt and pepper evenly over it.
- Cover it with the upper halve of the burger bun with the buttered-spread side facing downwards and press it lightly.
- Serve it and relish its flavors.
