Kuttu Ki Puri is tasty, healthy and delicious Indian fried bread which you can easily prepare at your home. This dish is a mouth-watering, flavorful, and delightful dish for your family members. The addition of various spices gives a nice unique taste and flavor. Let’s follow this yummy recipe.
Ingredients
- 2 cups(240 gm) water chestnut (shingoda) flour or buckwheat (kuttu atta)
- 1 large (125 gm)potatoes boiled, peeled and mashed smooth
- 1 tspsenda namak (rock salt)
- Waterto knead
- Gheefor deep frying
- flourfor dusting
Directions
- In a bowl, add kuttu ka atta, salt, enough water, ghee and mashed potatoes and knead into a soft Divide the dough into 35 equal portions and roll each portion into a 75 mm. (3”) diameter circle.
- Heat oil in a deep non-stick pan and deep-fry, a few puris at a time, till they turn golden brown in color from both the sides.
- Drain on an absorbent paper and serve it with any pickle of your choice.
