Grilled Chicken Salad Recipe
Grilled Chicken Salad is a popular and famous chicken salad recipe. It is healthy and delicious salad recipe. This chicken salad is so lip- smacking that will make you crave for more. This salad is easy to make and rich in texture. Let’s follow this mouth- watering recipe.
Ingredients
- 4 piecechicken breast
- 2 teaspoonolive oil for marinating and 2 teaspoon to cook the chicken
- 10lettuce leaves, roughly chopped
- Smallpiece of Gouda cheese (optional)
- 1/2capsicum, chopped
- 1 smallcucumber, chopped
- 8 to 10roasted and salted almonds( easily available in the market)
- 3 to 4cherry tomatoes, cut into half
- Saltpepper to taste
- Juiceof half a lime
- 2cloves of garlic, grated
- 2stems of parsley, thoroughly chopped for marinating the chicken
For vinaigrette
- 1 teaspoonvinegar
- 1 teaspoonolive oil
- 2 stemsfresh parsley
- 1 gratedclove of garlic
- 1 tspchili powder
- as requiredchili flakes
- saltto taste
Directions
- In a bowl add chicken breast and also add salt, pepper, parsley, lime juice, 2 tsp olive oil and garlic and marinate it for 1 hour.
- After 1 hour, grill the chicken on a grilling pan and add 2 tsp olive oil over the chicken and grill it until the chicken gets perfectly cooked and keep it aside.
For vinaigrette(Salad Dressing)
- In a bowl add vinegar, olive oil, parsley grated garlic, salt, and chili flakes and mix it well keep it aside.
For Salad
- In a bowl add lettuce, chopped cucumber, chopped capsicum, tomatoes, Gouda cheese, almonds and the prepared vinaigrette and mix it nicely.
How to Proceed
- Cut the cooked grilled chicken into 4 pieces of each chicken breast.
- In a plate, arrange the prepared salad and then place the grilled chicken over the salad
- Garnish with grated chess and serve it and enjoy.
