Baked Pasta Recipe
Baked Pasta is one pot meal which is very easy to make and taste delicious. It is a perfect recipe when you are in no mood to cook. This dish can be served as a tea time snack or as a dinner. Let’s follow this recipe.
Ingredients
For White Pasta Sauce
- 1 tbspbutter
- 1 tbspplain flour (maida)
- 2 cupsmilk
- 1 cupwater
- 3 cupspasta (you can use any pasta of your choice)
- 2 tbspolive oil
- 1/2 cupbroccoli florets
- 2 cupsmushrooms (khumbh)
- 2 cupssweet corn kernels (makai ke dane)
- 4capsicum, chopped (red, green, yellow)
- 3 cupsgrated mozzarella cheese
- 1 tbspdried oregano
- 1 tbspbasil
- 1 tbspdried red chilies flakes
- saltto taste

Directions
For the white sauce
- Heat a pan add the butter and flour and saute to make it a soft dough on a low flame.
- Add the milk and water to the flour mixture to make it a smooth batter.
- Keep it mixing it on a low flame to avoid the formation of lumps and switch off the flame and keep it aside.
How to proceed
- In a deep pan boil the pasta in enough water and add a little 1/2 tsp olive oil and salt, so that the pasta does not stick at the bottom of the pan.
- Once the pasta is cooked remove from the flame, drain under running and keep it aside to cool.
- Heat olive oil in a pan, add capsicum, corn, broccoli, and mushrooms and fry on a low flame for 2 to 4 minutes.
- Add the boiled pasta, oregano, basil, chili flakes, and salt and fry for a second.
- Add the prepared white sauce and mix it well.
- Transfer the mixture into a microwave baking dish and sprinkle the grated mozzarella all over the pasta.
- Bake it in the microwave till the cheese becomes golden brown in color and serve it hot.
