After 12 minutes, tilt the pan and cook for 2 minutes till it turns golden brown in color and do not stir it. Switch off the flame, add the butter and mix it nicely with the help of spatula. Add the fresh cream and vanilla essence and mix it nicely and keep it aside. How to proceed In a bowl, add the plain flour, baking powder, and salt ,mix it nicely and keep it aside. In a bowl, add the butter, brown sugar and powdered sugar and mix it nicely by using a spatula till it is light and fluffy. Add the egg, vanilla essence and plain flour mixture and mix it nicely and add the caramel sauce and mix it nicely to form a thick mixture. Place a sheet of aluminum foil on a baking tray and by using an ice cream scooper, scoop out portions of the mixture and place them on the foil lined baking tray at equal distance. Bake it in a preheated oven at 180°c (360°f) for 10 minutes and remove the tray from the oven and put 3 gems over each cookie and bake them again at 180°c (360°f) for 7 to 8 minutes.
