Tangy Chicken Recipe

Ingredients
- 1/2 kilogramChicken cut into cubes
- 1 tablespoonLemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoonRed chili powder
- 1 1/2 teaspoonsRoasted cumin powder
- 1 teaspoonGinger paste
- 1 teaspoonGarlic paste
- 3/4 cupOnion paste
- Saltto taste
- 1/2 cupOil
- 1/2 teaspoonSugar
- 1 teaspoonCumin seeds
- 4-5Green chilies slit
- 1 cupYogurt
- 2 tablespoonsFresh coriander leaves chopped
Directions
- In a bowl add the chicken cubes with lemon juice, red chili powder, roasted cumin powder, ginger paste, garlic paste, onion paste, and salt and marinate for twenty minutes.
- Heat oil a non-stick pan and add sugar and cook till it changes color and add cumin seeds and saute till it crackles.
- Add green chilies and saute for a minute and add the marinated chicken and salt and continue cooking on low flame.
- Sprinkle little water at a time and cook until chicken is soft and tender and add yogurt and mix it well.
- Add coriander leaves and mix it well and serve it hot with tandoori roti.
