Delicious Prawns Manchurian Recipe
An awesome Indo-Chinese prawn manchurian recipe which is loaded with flavors yet so simple to prepare.It is delicious and tasty. It can be served as a starter or as a side dish. Try this lip-smacking dish at your home.
Ingredients
- 500 gramsPrawns (shelled and de-veined)
- 2tbspCorn flour
- 2Egg whites (remove the egg yolk and use only egg white)
- 2+4Green chilie (chopped)
- 1Onion
- 8Garlic cloves
- 1tbspTomato ketchup
- 1tbspRed chili sauce
- 1tbspSoya sauce
- 1tbspVinegar
- 2Onion greens stalks (chopped)
- 4tbspOil (for deep frying)

Directions
- Clean the prawns properly and pat them dry and keep it aside.
- In a bowl add corn flour, 2 chopped green chilies, egg whites, salt and 1tbsp warm water and mix it well and make a smooth batter.
- Heat oil in a deep-bottomed pan and dip the prawns in prepared batter and slowly drop them into the hot oil and fry them for 3-4 minutes on high flame or fry till it is golden brown in color.
- Drain the fried prawns in the plate and keep them aside.
- Heat 1tbsp oil in a deep bottomed pan and add green chilies and onion and fry for 4-6 minutes on low flame.
- Add the garlic and onion greens and cook for 2-3 minutes and add the tomato sauce, chili sauce and soya sauce and mix it well.
- Add vinegar and cook on a low flame for 3-4 minutes and add a cup of water and bring the gravy to boil.
- Now add the fried prawns and cook on a medium flame for another 6-7 minutes and If the gravy is too watery then add a teaspoon of corn flour to make the gravy thick.
- Serve this hot with fried rice.
