Capsicum Chicken Recipe
Capsicum Chicken is one of the most popular Indo-Chinese fusion dishes. Get your vitamins from the capsicum and protein from chicken and feel pleased with yourself for having a nourishing homemade meal. It tastes best with steamed rice. Let's follow this recipe.
Ingredients
- 1 mediumGreen capsicum cut into cubes
- 3/4 CupBesan/Chickpeas Flour
- 2 tablespoonOil
- 1 tablespoonGarlic chopped
- 1 inchGinger finely chopped
- 2-3Green chilies finely chopped
- 1/4 tablespoonTurmeric powder
- 1 1/2 teaspoonsCoriander powder
- 1/2 teaspoonRed chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoonGaram masala powder
- 1/2 teaspoon1/4 Cup or as required
- Saltto taste
- 1 mediumOnion cut into cubes
- ½ lemonJuice
- 7-8Fresh coriander sprigs
Directions
- Heat oil in a non- stick pan and add garlic, ginger, green chilies and fry till the garlic turns golden in color.
- Roughly slice chicken breasts, add to the pan and mix it well and add capsicum, mix it well and cook for a minute.
- Add turmeric powder, coriander powder, chili powder, garam masala powder and salt, mix it well and cook for 2 minutes.
- Add cubed onion, mix it well and cook for a minute and add lemon juice and mix it well.
- Add chopped coriander leaves and give a nice toss and serve it hot with fried rice.
