Indian Style Pizza Recipe
Try this Indian Style Pizza recipe at your home for your kid’s. This pizza is loaded with a lot of Indian spices. Pizza lovers must try this mouth watering pizza and relish the flavors and aroma. Let’s follow this recipe.
Ingredients
For The Pizza Base
- 1 cupplain flour (maida)
- 2 tspdry yeast
- 1 tspbaking soda
- saltto taste
- plainflour (maida) for rolling
- butterfor greasing and cooking
- 2 tspoil
- 1 cupsliced capsicum
- 1/2 cupsliced onions
- 1/2 cupdiagonally cut and blanched baby corn
- 1 tbspdried mixed herbs( easily available at the market)
- 1/2 tspdry red chili flakes (paprika)
- saltto taste
- 8 tbsptomato ketchup
- 1 cupgrated processed cheese

For the topping
- Heat the oil in a broad non-stick pan, add the capsicum, onions and baby corn and fry on a medium flame for 3 minutes.
- Add the mixed herbs, chili flakes, and salt and fry on a medium flame for 1 minute and keep it aside.
For the pizza base
- In a bowl add dry yeast, baking soda and 1½ tbsp of warm water mix it well and cover with a lid and keep it aside for 5 minutes.
- In a bowl add plain flour, yeast-baking powder mixture, and salt and knead into a soft dough by using enough warm water.
- Cover with a lid and keep aside for 10 minutes and divide the dough into equal portions.
- Roll a portion of the dough into a 150 mm. (6”) diameter circle using a little plain flour.
- Heat a non-stick tawa (griddle), grease it with little butter, place the rolled dough on it, cover with a lid and cook on a slow flame for 2 minutes using a little butter, flip it and cook again on a low flame for 2 minutes and keep it aside.
How to proceed
- Divide the topping into equal portions and keep it aside and place a pizza base on a clean, dry surface, spread 2 tbsp of tomato ketchup evenly over it.
- Put a portion of the prepared topping and spread it evenly and finally sprinkle ¼ cup of cheese evenly over it.
- Place the pizza on a hot greased tawa (griddle), cover it with a lid and cook on a slow flame for 2 to 3 minutes or cook till the pizza is crisp and the cheese melts completely.
- Serve it with a chill glass of milk shake.
