Besan Bread Toast Recipe

Besan Bread Toast is made with bread which contains carbohydrates and besan(gram flour) which is a storehouse of protein. So isn’t it healthy? It is very easy to prepare and this one dish which can be made in a jiffy. Serve this toast in breakfast.
Ingredients
- 4-5Bread slices, whole wheat
- 1Onion, finely chopped
- 1Tomato, finely chopped
- 1Green Chili, finely chopped
- 2-3sprig Coriander leaves (Dhania), finely chopped
- 1/2 cupGram flour (besan)
- 4 teaspoonsCooking oil
- Saltto taste
Directions
- In a bowl, add besan, onion, tomato, green chili, coriander leaves, salt and enough water and make a semi thick batter.
- Heat a skillet on a medium heat, brush it with oil and take a bread slice, dip it into the besan batter and place it on the heated skillet to toast.
- Apply a little oil on the sides to cook and once it is cooked at the bottom, flip over and cook the other side as well.
- Serve the Besan Bread Toast with a cup of tea.
Whole wheat Bread is a good source of protein, fiber, B vitamins, antioxidants, iron, zinc, copper, and magnesium.
