Gobi Fried Rice Recipe
Gobi Fried Rice is an excellent option for a one pot meal. This rice is loaded with nutrients and does not requires much effort to prepare this dish. It is quick, healthy, and tasty. It is loved by all.
Ingredients
For the Rice
- 2 cupsBasmati rice
- 3 tspGhee and Oil
- 1Bay leaf
- 2Clove
- 1-inchCinnamon
- 1Cardamom
- 1 tspGinger Garlic paste
- 1 longGreen Chili
- 1 cupCauliflower florets
- Saltto taste
- 1 cupMaida
- 2 tbspCorn Flour
- 1 tspGinger Garlic paste
- 1/2 tspGreen Chili paste
- 1 tspSoya Sauce
- a pinchRed food color
- Waterto make the batter
- Oilfor deep frying
- 2 tspOil
- 1 cupVegetables- Carrot, Beans, and Cabbage
- 4 stacksSpring Onions
- 1Green Chilies
- 1 tspCumin Seeds
- Saltto taste
- 1 tspPepper powder

Directions
For the rice
- Wash and soak the rice for 15 min and in a nonstick pan, heat oil, and the whole spices and also add green chilies and ginger garlic paste and fry it nicely.
- Then add drained rice and fry for a minute and add 1 & 1/2 cup water.
- Add salt and cook on a low flame until the rice is cooked and switch off the flame and keep it aside.
For the Gobi Manchurian
- Wash and soak the gobi in salted hot water for 10 min and in a bowl add gobi, chili paste, Ginger Garlic paste, maida, cornflour, soya sauce, red food color, and salt and water as needed and mix it well.
- Heat the oil for deep frying and dip in the gobi and deep fry in oil till golden brown in color.
- Drain on the tissue paper and keep it aside for later use.
For the Fried Rice
- In a deep pan add oil and cumin seeds and as it crackle and add the spring onions along with green chilies.
- Add all the veggies, soya sauce, pepper, and salt and fried gobi and stir it well
- Add the cooked rice and toss it well and add the spring onion greens.
- Switch off the flame and transfer to a serving bowl and serve it hot.
