Spicy and Quick Mutton Curry Recipe
This Mutton Curry is a popular Indian spicy, easy and quick dish. It is a mouth-watering dish with hot and spicy flavors. Try this recipe for a weekend lunch/dinner for you are family members.
Ingredients
- 500 gramsMutton, goat meat with bone
- 2Tomatoes, finely chopped
- saltto taste
- as requiredCooking oil
- 2 cupsWater as required, for cooking the meat
For masala/marinade (grind all the ingredients)
- 5Fresh coconut, large chunks
- 1Onion, roughly chopped
- 1 teaspoonWhole Black Pepper Corns
- 5 sprigCoriander leaves (Dhania)
- 1-inchGinger
- 5 clovesGarlic
- 1/2 teaspoonTurmeric powder (Haldi)
- a pinchsalt
- 5Cloves
- 1 inchCinnamon Stick
- 2 teaspoonRed chili powder, adjust
- 1/2 teaspoonSalt, adjust
Directions
- Blend all the ingredients listed under masala to a fine paste and keep it aside.
- Heat the pressure cooker with some oil (3 to 4 tablespoon) add the chopped tomato and cook till it turns mushy.
- Add meat and blended paste and cook till the raw smell disappears cook for 15 min on a low flame and stir continuously.
- Add 1 to 2 cups of water and check for spices and salt levels, adjust as per requirement and taste.
- Cook it for 40 min on a low flame or until the meat is soft and tender.
- Serve it hot with hot steam rice.
