Cheesy Vegetarian Pizza Muffins
Cheesy pizza muffins is a famous fast food recipe which is very popular among kids. This muffin has a bursting flavor of cheese and oregano. This is perfect school time snack for your kids and also perfect for any special occasion. Let’s follow this recipe.
Ingredients
- 1-1/2 cupsflour
- 1-1/2 teaspoonsbaking powder
- 1/2 teaspoonsalt
- 1/2green capsicum, finely chopped
- 1egg
- 1/4 cupOlive oil
- 1/2 cupPizza/Pasta Sauce( easily available at the market)
- 1 teaspoondried oregano
- 1 teaspoonof basil leaves, finely chopped
- 1/2 cupmozzarella cheese
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 200 C and line the muffin pans with cupcake liners and keep it aside.
- In a bowl sift the flour, salt, and baking powder and add dried oregano, chopped basil leaves, pizza sauce, olive oil, capsicum, and egg into the flour mixture and by using a hand mixer mix all the ingredients nicely.
- Pour the mixture into the muffin cavities until 3/4th full and place themuffins in the oven and bake for 20 minutes.
- When the muffins are almost done, remove from the oven and sprinkle the cheese on the top and put it back into the oven and bake until the cheese melts.
- Once the pizza muffins are baked, remove from the oven and allow it to cool for 15 minutes in the room temperature.
- Serve it hot and relish its flavor.
