Easy Chicken Hakka Noodles Recipe
Chicken Hakka Noodles is an Indo-Chinese dish that is enjoyed by all. A healthy dish that contains ample amount of nutrients. A big advantage is that the kids also love it. This noodles can be served as a main course for lunch or dinner.
Ingredients
- 1 cupboneless chicken (cut into halves)
- 2 cupschicken Hakka noodles (store-bought)
- 1 cupscarrot thinly chopped or shredded
- 1 cupgreen bell pepper chopped
- 1 cupwhite spring onions chopped
- 1 cupgreen spring onions chopped
- 4-5cloves finely chopped
- 4green chilies slit
- 1/2 tspsoya sauce
- 1/4 tspred chili sauce
- 1 tbspvinegar
- 1 tbsptomato sauce
- A pinchof white pepper powder
- Saltto taste
- 2 tbspoil
Directions
- Clean the chicken thoroughly in normal running water and boil in sufficient amount of water for about 6-7 minutes and drain the water from the chicken and keep it aside.
- Boil the noodles in sufficient amount of water and drain off in a colander, refresh under cold water and keep it aside.
- Heat the oil in a big non-stick wok and add chopped garlic and green chilies and saute for few seconds.
- Add chopped white onions, carrots and bell pepper and stir fry on medium high flame and keep tossing it.
- Add salt and white pepper powder, mix it well and add boiled chicken, soya sauce, chili sauce, and tomato sauce.
- Mix the chicken with the veggies and keep stirring for few minutes and when the vegetables seem half cooked, then add boiled noodles.
- Stir very well and finally add green spring onions and mix the noodles very well and mix it properly with sauces, chicken, and veggies.
- Serve it hot.
Tips:
- You can add vegetables of your choice.
- You can adjust the spices according to your taste.
