Grilled Mushroom Sandwich Recipe
Grilled Mushroom Sandwich is a simple and quick recipe that can be made for a breakfast or for brunch. Mushrooms are a powerhouse of nutrition, so better to include them in your daily meal. Try out this recipe.
Ingredients
- 8Bread slices
- 400 gramsButton mushrooms, chopped2Green Chilies, finely chopped
- Saltto taste
- Pepperaccording to your taste
- 2 tbspCoriander leaves (Dhania), finely chopped
- Butteras required
- Olive Oilfor cooking
Directions
- Heat a teaspoon of olive oil in a wok or a heavy bottomed pan on medium flame and add chopped mushrooms and saute until water has evaporated (mushrooms leaves out water while being cooked).
- Once all the water and moisture is evaporated, add green chilies, salt, and black pepper and mix it nicely.
- Turn off the flame and chopped coriander leaves, mix it well and keep it aside.
- Spread the butter on the slices of bread and spread about 2 tablespoons of the mushroom mixture on one bread slice and cover it with the another bread slice.
- Grill the bread on a sandwich maker and grill till golden brown in color
- Serve it hot with a bowl of soup.
Mushroom is a good source of selenium, niacin, potassium, phosphorous, vitamin C, and iron.
