Tasty Kadai Mutton Recipe

Kadai Mutton is a Mughlai mutton recipe. The fresh spices give this dish an amazing flavor. This flavorful dish is ideal for a weekend lunch or dinner. Here is the tasty recipe of mutton for you to try it and relish it flavors.
Ingredients
- ½ kgMutton / lamb
- 2 tbspOil
- 1 tbspGinger garlic paste
- 2Onion
- 2Tomato
- ¼ tspTurmeric powder
- 3 tbspYogurt
- 1 tspPepper powder
- ½ tspSaunf
- 1 tspKashmiri red chilly powder
- 2 tspCoriander powder
- ½ tspGaram masala powder
- ½ tspCumin powder
- ½ tspKasoori methi powder
- Freshmint and coriander leaves
- Few dropsof lemon juice
- Saltto taste
Directions
- Wash and slice mutton to bite sized pieces and heat oil in a frying pan and add ginger garlic and saute until the raw smell disappears and add mutton pieces and toss it on a high flame for a minute.
- Add sliced onions and fry till the onions turn translucent and add tomato slices and allow to cook.
- Add turmeric powder, salt, and mix it well and add 1 cup of water and allow to boil.
- Cover with a lid and cook on low flame for 40 to 45 min. ( at this stage you can also transfer it to pressure cooker and cook until mutton is done)
- Once the mutton is cooked, mix it nicely and add yogurt and mix it well.
- Add pepper powder, saunf powder, Kashmiri red chilly powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder, cumin powder and kasoori methi powder.
- Mix it well and cook it
- Add freshly chopped coriander and mint leaves and squeeze out few drops of lemon and mix it nicely and cook on a low flame for 2-3 min.
- Switch off the flame and transfer it to a serving bowl and serve it hot with paratha.
