Vegetable Sooji/Rava Appe Recipe
Vegetable Appe/ Appam is a quick snack loaded with vegetable. A simple instant recipe with rava( suji) and veggies. This dish perfect for kids. It is a quick breakfast recipe that can be packed for tiffin also. Let’s follow this recipe.
Ingredients
- 1 CupSooji
- 1/2 CupCurd
- FinelyChopped vegetables like beet, carrot, onion, capsicum, tomato, green chilies
- 1 tspEno
- Finelychopped coriander
- Saltas per taste
- Waterif needed to adjust the consistency of the batter
- Oilfor frying
Directions
- In a mixing bowl, add sooji and curd and mix it well to a smooth batter and keep it the batter aside for an hour.
- After an hour add 1 tsp eno/soda, salt, and chopped vegetables and mix it very gently.
- Heat Appe pan and add a drop of oil in each cavity/mold and add a tbsp of batter in each cavity and cover with a lid and cook for 2 minutes.
- Then flip on the other side and cook for 2 minutes and cook until brown color from both the sides.
- Remove it form pan and place the Appe on a serving plate and serve it hot with coconut chutney.
