The mixture should be in the consistency of soft dough, add butter, cardamom and keep stirring for another 4 minutes and switch off the flame. Grease the plate with ghee and transfer mixture to the greased plate and cut into a square shape, approximately 1/2 inch high. For garnishing put one cashew in the center of every piece of burfi.
