Khada Masala Gosht( Mutton cooked with whole spices) Recipe
Khada Masala Gosht is a simple yet delicious packed with flavors. It takes an hour to cook but it is easy to prepare as it just needs few ingredients. It tastes best and is a mouth watering dish. Let’s follow this recipe.
Ingredients
- 1 kg, cubedLamb
- 1/2 cupOil
- 3Bay leaves
- 10Cloves
- 5Cinnamon Sticks
- 8, wholeRed Chilies
- 10Green Cardamoms
- 1 cup, chopped, slicedOnions
- 4 tbspGinger Paste
- 4 tbspGarlic Paste
- 1/2 tspGaram Masala
- 2 tspCoriander Powder
- 1 1/2 tspCumin Powder
- To TasteSalt
- 1/2 tspMace Powder
- 1/2, powderedNutmeg
- 2 tsp, crushedBlack Pepper
- 12, wholeGreen Chilies
- 1 1/2 tsp, choppedFresh Mint
- 1 cup, whiskedYogurt
Directions
- Heat the oil in a pan and add the whole spices and saute over medium heat until they begin to crackle.
- Add the onions and saute until soft and golden in color.
- Add the ginger and garlic pastes, stir it and cook for 5 minutes.
- Add the lamb cubes and cook for 10 to 15 minutes over medium flame until the lamb get cooked.
- Add yogurt and stir it and cook for 5 minutes.
- Reduce heat and cook until the lamb is tender.
- Sprinkle with garam masala, coriander powder, cumin powder, salt, mace powder, nutmeg powder and the crushed black pepper and mix it nicely.
- Arrange the green chilies over the cooked meat and cover the pan with the lid and cook for 2 to 3 minutes.
- Garnish with fresh mint leaves serve hot.
