Healthy Mushroom Burger Recipe

Try this mushroom burger recipe, that is a vegetarian burger layered with a spicy mushroom patties and veggies. This burger is wholesome and quick snack recipe. Let’s follow this healthy low-fat recipe.
Ingredients
- 10-12Button Mushrooms
- 4Burger Buns
- 1 mediumOnion
- 1 mediumCarrot
- 1½ cupsCooked brown rice
- 5-6Fresh coriander sprigs
- 2 tablespoonBrown breadcrumbs
- Saltto taste
- to tasteCrushed black peppercorns
- 1 tspOil for frying
- 8 teaspoonSweet red chili sauce
- 10-12Iceberg lettuce leaves
- 1 mediumTomato
Directions
- Roughly chop onion and carrot, put them into a processor and add mushrooms, brown rice, coriander sprigs, salt and crushed black peppercorns and chop them finely.
- Transfer this mixture into a bowl, add breadcrumbs and mix it well.
- Divide this mixture into equal portions, flatten them into patties.
- Halve the burger buns and heat sufficient oil in a non-stick pan and shallow-fry the patties and fry till they are crisp and brown on both the sides.
- Drain them on absorbent paper.
- Heat oil in a non-stick pan and place the burger buns and toast them and slice the tomato.
- Spread 1 tsp red chili sauce on the inner sides of each burger buns, place 2-3 iceberg lettuce leaves on one-half of the bun, place a mushroom patty over it, top with some of the tomato slices and cover with the other half of the bun.
- Keep the burgers on a serving plate and serve it.
