Creamy Caramel Chocolate Fondue Recipe
Divinely rich and silky smooth, the Creamy Caramel Chocolate Fondue has the most balanced flavor which appeals to almost everybody. This fondue recipe is neither too bitter or sweet. Let’s follow this recipe.
Ingredients
- 1-3/4 cupscups sugar
- 1/2 cupwater
- 6 tbspcold, unsalted butte
- 1/2 cupheavy cream
- 1/2 cupchopped toasted pecans or walnuts (akhrot)
- 100 gmdark chocolate chopped
- 1/4 cupmilk
Directions
- In a pan add sugar and water and cook over medium-high flame until the sugar is dissolved.
- Cook on a high flame and continue to cook until the sugar is a medium-dark color; stir continuously.
- Remove from the flame and add butter and slowly add the heavy cream, the mixture will splatter and bubble up.
- Twist the pan until the sauce is smooth and the heavy cream is thoroughly mixed.
- Remove from the flame and add the nuts and at the same time melt the chocolate in a double-boiler or in the microwave for 1-2 minutes on high power (stir in every 30 sec).
- Stir in the sugar mixture and milk until blend nicely and smooth.
- Let cool for 15 to 20 minutes, then transfer to a fondue pot over a low flame and serve warm, with the dipping items of your choice.
