Yummy Jackfruit Cutlets Recipe
Jackfruit Cutlet is one of the most popular snacks in summer. You can have raw jackfruit cutlets for breakfast or as a starter before dinner or whenever you want to. Let’s follow this yummy recipe.
Ingredients
- 1-1/2 cupsboiled jackfruit
- 1 cupfried potato cubes
- 1 tbspchopped onions
- 1 tspchopped green chilies
- 1/2 tspchopped ginger (adrak)
- a pinchturmeric powder (haldi)
- 1/2 tspcumin seeds (jeera) powder
- 1/2 tspgaram masala
- 1/4 cupcornflour
- saltto taste
- breadcrumbs for coating
- oilfor cooking
Directions
For Green Masala
- Blend coriander leaves, garlic, ginger, cumin seeds, coriander seeds, chilies, salt, and water as needed and blend into a fine paste
How To Proceed
- Heat oil in a vessel and fry the whole spices ( cloves, peppercorns, cinnamon, bay leaf and saute them till they release their flavor.
- Add the onions and fry them till they are translucent.
- Add the washed rice and fry for some time and mix thoroughly.
- Add the blended green masala and stir thoroughly and add the prawns and mix again.
- Add the water and salt and mix it thoroughly once and close the lid.
- When the water starts boiling and cook for 20 minutes on a low flame or till all the water gets evaporated.
- When the rice is cooked, take it off the flame and keep it covered for 5 minutes in a room temperature.
- Serve hot and enjoy.
