Crunchy Soya Chunk Pakora Recipe
These Soya Chunk Pakora are very easy to make for tea time or evening snack. They turn crunchy once fried and have a very soft texture inside. Soya Chunk pakora can be served with a cup of tea or with chutney or sauce. Follow this recipe.
Ingredients
- 1 cupsoya chunks( soaked in hot water for 30 min)
- 4 tbspbesan (gram flour)
- 1 tbsprice flour
- 1 tbspcorn flour
- 2 tspchili powder (sambar powder)
- saltto taste
- 1 tsplemon juice
- a pinchedible orange color
Directions
- Soak the soya chunks in hot water for 30 min and squeeze out the water and cut the chunks into two halves.
- In a bowl add besan, rice flour, corn flour, chili flour, salt, lemon juice, and edible orange color.
- Mix it nicely and form a thick paste by adding a little water and keep it aside for 10 min.
- Heat oil in a kadhai and dip the chunks in besan batter and coat it fully.
- Drop in the oil one by one and fry till it turns golden brown and remove from flame and drain the excess oil in absorbent tissue paper.
- Serve it hot with sauce of your choice.
Soya Chunks is high in nutrition and rich in protein.
