Jowar and Onion Puri Recipe

Jowar and Onion Puri is an Indian fried bread which can be very easily prepared in your home. It has a nice crunchy taste, tempting flavor, and a nice aroma. This puri is a prefect wholesome dish and a very healthy dish for kid’s and women. Let’s follow this healthy and easy puri recipe.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cupjowar (white millet) flour
- 1/4 cupfinely chopped onions
- 2 tspblack sesame seeds (kala til)
- saltto taste
- 3/4 tspoil for greasing
- jowar(white millet) flour for rolling
Directions
- In a bowl, add jowar, chopped onions, sesame seeds, salt, and enough water and mix it well and knead into a firm dough.
- Divide the dough into 30 equal portions and grease your palms with oil, roll each portion of the dough in between your palms into a 38 mm. (1½") diameter circle by using very little jowar flour.
- Grease a baking tray by using, ¼ tsp of oil, place 15 puris evenly over it and prick all over the puris evenly using a fork.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 180°c (360°f) for 20 minutes or till the puris are golden brown and crisp, turn them once after 10 minutes.
- Once done, remove it and store it in an airtight container and enjoy whenever you want.
