Spicy Stuffed Bhindi Recipe

Ingredients
for stuffing:
- ¼ cupbesan/gram flour/chickpea flour
- ¾ tspkashmiri chili powder/lal mirch powder
- ½ tspturmeric/haldi
- saltto taste
- ¾ tspcoriander powder /dhaniya powder
- ¼ tspcumin powder /jeera powder
- 1 tspamchur powder/dry mango powder
- ½ tspgaram masala
- pinchof hing/asafoetida
- ¼ tspginger paste/adrak paste
other ingredients:
- 1/2 cupbhindi / okra /lady finger
- 4 tspoil
- 4jeera /cumin seeds
- 4curry leaves / kadi patta
- 4green chili/hari mirch, slit lengthwise
- ½ onionfinely chopped
Directions
Stuffing/spice mix recipe:
- In a small mixing bowl take all the ingredients listed in for stuffing and mix it well and keep it aside.
How To Proceed
- Slit the bhindi and stuff the prepared spice mix powder in it and keep the stuffed bhindi aside.
- Heat oil in kadhai and cumin seeds, curry leaves, onion, and curry leaves and wait and saute onions and green chili till they shrink in size.
- Add the stuffed bhindi into the kadhai and also add the leftover masala over the bhindi and give a gentle mix.
- Cover with the lid and cook for 3 minutes on a low flame.
- Saute in between till the bhindi get cooked completely.
- Serve stuffed bhindi with rice or roti.
