Cheesy Cheese Dosa Recipe
Cheese Dosa is a South Indian recipe made using cheese, rice, and urad dal. This easy recipe is a great option for morning breakfast. Try out this quick and easy to make dosa recipe.
Ingredients
- 2 cupsdosa batter
- 100 g“Mother Dairy” processed cheese
- Chaatmasala to sprinkle
- Groundblack pepper to sprinkle
For the Dosa Batter
- 2 cupsnormal rice
- 1/2 cupurad dal (Split Black Lentils)
- A pinchof soda bicarbonate
- Saltto taste
Directions
For the Dosa Batter
- Soak the rice and dal separately for overnight and next morning grind them individually to make a smooth paste and then combine both the batters in a bowl.
- Add little amount of water at the time of grinding and add salt as per the taste, also add soda and keep it aside.
How to Proceed
- Heat a non-stick griddle and clean with a damp kitchen napkin and make sure that the griddle should not have any breaks or burning spots.
- Pour about 2 tbsp of dosa batter on the center of the hot tawa and reduce the flame.
- Make a thin round circle of dosa batter with the help of a big spoon and fry on a high flame and drizzle some oil over all on the dosa.
- Grate a good amount of cheese over the dosa and flatten to spread the cheese evenly on whole dosa and wait for 2 minutes, till the cheese starts melting.
- Remove the cheese dosa onto a serving plate, sprinkle some ground black pepper and chaat masala.
- Serve with tomato ketchup.
