Ingredients
- 40 piecesAlmonds
- 1 literMilk
- a pinchSaffron (kesar)
- 1/2 teaspoonGreen cardamom powder
- a pinchNutmeg powder
- 8 tablespoonsSugar
Directions
- Step1Soak the almonds in two cups of boiling water for five to ten minutes and drain and peel the skin.
- Step2Slice fifteen of them and place the remaining in the jar of a mixer and grind to a paste.
- Step3Heatmilk in a deep non-stick pan on a high flame and once it comes to a boil, reduce the flame to medium, add almond paste and cook on a low flame for 15 to 20 minutes.
- Step4Add saffron, green cardamom powder, and nutmeg powder and mix it.
- Step5Add sugar and mix till sugar dissolves and switch off the flame.
- Step6Pour into individual glasses and garnish with the sliced almonds and serve it hot.
