Light and Creamy Apricot Mousse Recipe
Apricot Mousse is a popular dessert recipe made with apricots, cream, and condensed milk. Try this dessert recipe on special occasion. This mousse is light, creamy and has a sweet aroma of apricot. Let’s follow this dessert recipe.
Ingredients
- 3/4 cupdried apricot puree( see the tips below)
- 3/4 cupbeaten whipped cream
- 2 tbspcondensed milk
- 1/4 cupcoarsely crushed digestive biscuits
For The Garnish
Directions
- In a bowl add apricot puree and condensed milk and mix it well.
- Add beaten whipped cream and digestive biscuits and fold it gently.
- Pour equal quantities of the apricot mixture into individual bowls and refrigerate for 2 hours.
- Garnish with beaten whipped cream and serve it chill.
Tips:
- To make ¾ cup of apricot puree, soak 1 cup of apricot in hot water for 15 minutes and drain, remove and discard the seeds and grind them to a smooth puree in a mixer, using 2 tbsp of water.
Notes
- Biscuits used in this recipe are crushed using a rolling pin than a mixer and to do this, place the biscuits on a butter paper or a rolling board and crush them finely or coarsely (as per the recipe requirement) by using a rolling pin.
