Quick and Easy Paneer Jalfrezi Recipe

Ingredients
- 400 gmPaneer (cottage cheese)
- 2 Medium sizedtomatoes
- 2 Medium sizedcapsicums
- 2 Medium sizedonions
- 1 tspGinger juliennes
- 3 tbspOil
- 1 tspCumin seeds (jeera)
- 2 Whole dryKashmiri red chilies
- 1 to 2Chopped Green Chilies
- 1 1/2 tspChili powder
- 1/2 tspTurmeric powder (haldi)
- To tasteSalt
- 1 1/2 tbspVinegar
- 1 tspGaram masala
- 1/4 cupChopped coriander (dhania)
Directions
- Cut the paneer into 2" long pieces and keep it aside.
- De-seed the tomatoes and capsicums and cut them into 2" long slices with 1/4" width and keep it aside.
- Cut the onions into thick slices and separate the layers and keep it aside.
- Heat oil in a kadhai and add cumin seeds and when the seeds crackle, add red chilies and saute for 10 seconds.
- Add ginger julienne, green chilies, and onions and saute for 1 minute.
- Add red chili powder, and turmeric powder, mix it well and add capsicum pieces and cook for two to three minutes.
- Add paneer and toss it gently and add salt and vinegar and cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Add tomatoes, and garam masala powder, mix it well and cook till the capsicum turns soft.
- Garnish with coriander leaves and serve it hot.
