Tasty and Easy Stuffed Soya Paratha Recipe
Stuffed Soya Paratha is an easy paratha recipe. This paratha is a very popular Indian Flat Bread and is one of the most popular breakfast in India. Serve this paratha with a cup of thick curd or with any pickle of your choice. Let’s follow this easy and tasty recipe.
Ingredients
For the dough
- 1 cupwhole wheat flour (gehu ka atta)
- 1/2 cupsoya flour
- 1 tspgrated garlic
- To tasteSalt
For the filling
- 1 cupboiled and mashed green peas
- 1 tspcumin seeds (jeera)
- 1 tspginger-green chili paste
- 1 tspchili powder
- 1 tspcoriander (dhania) powder
- 1/2 tspcumin seeds (jeera) powder
- 1/2 tspdried mango powder (amchur)
- A pinch ofTurmeric powder (haldi)
- 1 tspOil
- To tasteSalt
Other ingredients
- 1 tspoil for cooking
Directions
For the dough
- In a bowl add wheat flour, soya flour, garlic and salt and knead a semi-soft dough by using enough water and divide the dough into equal portions and keep it aside.
For the filling
- Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add cumin seeds and allow the seeds to crackle.
- Add ginger- chili paste, chili powder, coriander powder, mango powder and salt and cook for 3 to 4 minutes and remove the flame and keep aside to cool.
How to proceed
- Roll out one portion of the dough into a circle of 75 mm. (3") diameter.
- Place one portion of the filling in the center of the dough circle.
- Bring together all the sides in the center and seal tightly and roll out again into a circle of 125 mm. (5") diameter with the help of a little flour.
- Cook the paratha on a non-stick pan and brush a little oil on the paratha and cook until both sides are golden brown in color.
- Serve hot with the pickle.
