Easy Grilled Tawa Fish Recipe
Grilled Tawa Fish is an all time favorite dish can be served as an appetizer. This seafood recipe is extremely crispy and spicy in taste and can be enjoyed with chutney and salad of your choice. Try this easy fish recipe at home for a unique experience.
Ingredients
- 2-3Basa fillets
- Juice of1 lemon
- 1 tablespoonGinger-garlic paste
- 1/2 teaspoonTurmeric powder
- 1 teaspoonGaram masala powder
- to tasteSalt
- 1 teaspoonRed chili powder
- 1 tablespoonCoriander powder
- 18-20Curry leaves
- 4 tablespoonsFresh coriander leaves chopped
- 1Egg
- 1/2 cupRice flour
- 1 tablespoonOil
- 1Green capsicum cut into juliennes
- 2 mediumOnions sliced
- 1Tomato seeded and cut into juliennes
Directions
- Cut the fish into medium size pieces and place them in a bowl and add lemon juice, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, garam masala powder, salt, red chili powder, and coriander powder and mix it well.
- Roughly chop the curry leaves and add to the fish along with the chopped coriander and egg and mix it well.
- Add rice flour and mix it again.
- Heat oil in a non-stick grill pan and place the fish pieces and cook till evenly done from both the sides.
- Transfer the cooked fish to a serving dish.
- Add capsicum, onion, and tomato in the same pan and saute for a minute.
- Place the sauteed vegetables along the fish.
- Serve hot with chutney and salad of your choice.
