Tasty Masala Bhatura Recipe
One of the amazing main dish that you can eat all around the year and especially during winters. Extremely tempting and delicious, this Masala Bhatura is mouth watering and tasty. Make this bhatura at home by following this recipe step by step.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cupWhole wheat flour (gehun ka atta)
- 1/2 cupPlain flour (maida)
- 1/2 cupBoiled, peeled and mashed potatoes
- 1 tbspChopped coriander (dhania)
- 2 tbspFinely chopped onions
- 2 tspFinely chopped green chilies
- 1/4 tspGaram masala
- to tasteSalt
- for deep-fryingOil
Directions
- In a bowl add whole wheat flour, plain flour, mashed potatoes, chopped coriander, chopped onions, green chili, garam masala, and salt.
- Knead into a firm dough by using water as required and cover with a wet muslin cloth and keep aside for 10 to 15 minutes.
- Divide the dough into equal portions and roll each portion into a 100 mm. (4") diameter circle.
- Cook each portion lightly over a tawa (griddle) for a few seconds on each side and keep it aside.
- Heat oil in a kadhai on a medium flame and deep-fry the bhaturas or fry till they puff up and are golden brown on both the sides and drain on absorbent paper.
- Serve it hot with Chole.
