Tasty Keema Pulao Recipe
Keema Pulao is an easy-to-make pulao recipe. The main ingredients used in this recipe are minced mutton, rice, yogurt and spices. This dish has a wonderful taste, distinct flavor, and aroma. This pulao is a main course dish which is popularly made during Ramzan. Try this non-vegetarian recipe and enjoy with your loved ones.
Ingredients
- 200 gramsMutton Mince (Keema)
- 1 1/2 cupsBasmati Rice
- 2 tablespoonsOil
- 2Green cardamoms
- 1Black cardamom
- 5-6Cloves
- 1 inch stickCinnamon
- 8-10Black peppercorns
- 1 teaspoonCumin seeds
- 2 clovesGarlic chopped
- 1 largeOnion chopped
- 3Green chillies,chopped
- 1 tablespoonGarlic paste
- 1 tablespoonGinger paste
- 1 teaspoonRed chili powder
- 2 largeTomatoes chopped
- 15-20Fresh mint leaves torn
- a few sprigsFresh coriander leaves chopped
- to tasteSalt
- 1 teaspoonGaram masala powder
Directions
- Heat oil in a pan, add green cardamoms, black cardamom, cloves,cinnamon, pepper corns, cumin seeds and fry for a minute, add chopped garlic, chopped onion and chopped green chillies.
- Fry till the onions turn golden in color and add mutton mince and cook on high flame for five minutes.
- Add garlic paste, ginger paste, red chili powder, chopped tomatoes and fry for 2-3 min.
- Add rice and gently fry for a minute and add three and a half cups of hot water, torn mint leaves, chopped coriander leaves and salt and mix it lightly.
- Add garam masala powder, mix it nicely and cover it with a lid and cook on low flame for 10-12 minutes or till the rice and Keema is is soft.
- Transfer it to a serving plate and serve it with raita
