Delicious Dahi Chicken Recipe
Pleasure your taste buds with this chicken cooked in the curd. A healthy combination of curd and chicken which is seasoned with different Indian spices. Learn how to prepare this delicious Dahi Chicken recipe.
Ingredients
- 1/2 kgChicken
- 1 cupDahi
- 2 teaspoonRed chili powder
- 1 teaspoonCoriander powder
- 1/4 teaspoonTurmeric powder
- as neededSalt
- 1 teaspoonGaram masala powder
- 3Cinnamon stick
- 1 teaspoonblack pepper
- 2Cardamom brown
- 5Cardamom green
- 4Cloves
- 4Onion
- 1 inch piecesGinger
- 10 clovesGarlic
- 6Cashew nuts
- 6Almonds
- 2 teaspoonKhus-khus
Directions
- Marinate the chicken with curd, red chili powder, turmeric powder, salt, garam masala powder, and coriander powder and refrigerate the chicken for 3 hours.
- Heat oil in a pan and fry marinated chicken for 8 minutes and keep it aside.
- Heat oil in a pan and fry onions until golden brown and keep it aside.
- Grind ginger, garlic, pepper, cardamom brown and green, cinnamon stick and cloves together into a smooth paste.
- Heat oil in a pan and add grind paste, red chili powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder and salt and cook on medium flame for about 5 minutes.
- Then grind fried onion and add grind onion in a gravy and add curd and cook on a medium flame for 3 minutes.
- Grind Khus-khus, almond and cashew nuts together and add this paste to the gravy and cook on slow flame for 5 minutes.
- Add fried chicken and mix it well and add 2 cup water and cover with the lid cook for minutes on a low flame.
- Garnish with coriander leaves and serve with naan or roti.
