Indian Style Egg Pakora Recipe

One cannot deny or control their love and yearning for pakora and when it is made up of an egg. Pakoras can be prepared as an evening snack. Egg pakoras are a great kid’s friendly option and the soft egg with crispy layer out makes it exquisite one. Prepare this pakora and serve with any chutney of your choice. Let’s follow this Indian Style Egg Pakora recipe.
Ingredients
- 8Eggs (hard-boiled)
- 1 cupBengal Gram flour (Besan)
- 2green chili finely chopped
- 1/2 teaspoonred chili powder
- 1/8 teaspoonbaking soda
- 1/4 teaspoonblack pepper powder
- Freshcoriander leaves finely chopped
- Saltto taste
- Oilfor frying
Directions
- Remove the shell of boiled eggs and cut each boiled egg into two halves and sprinkle little salt and pepper on all the pieces of boiled eggs.
- In a bowl add gram flour salt, chili powder, soda, green chili, and chopped coriander and gradually add water and make the batter of average consistency.
- Heat a generous amount of oil in a frying pan and carefully dip each egg piece in the prepared batter and deep fry in the hot oil until golden brown from both the sides.
- Serve it hot with green chutney and tomato sauce.
Notes
- Serve these egg pakora immediately otherwise, they will turn soggy very fast.
Chef Tips
- You can make 4 pieces of each boiled egg.
- Carefully check the consistency of batter, it should not be too thick or too think.
- Fry this pakora on medium flame, so that they get cooked very well from inside and outside.
