Tasty And Tangy Fruit Chaat Recipe

Ingredients
- 2oranges skin removed and sliced in ½ inch each segment
- 1apple peeled and cubed into ½ inch pieces
- 1firm banana sliced into approximately ¼ inch rounds
- 1/2 cupsliced strawberries
- 1 cupEnglish or Asian cucumber cubed into ¼ inch pieces
- 1green chili finely chopped (optional)
- 1 tablespoonchopped cilantro
Dressing
- 1 tablespoonlemon juice Approximately
- 1 tablespoonginger juice Approximately
- 1/2 teaspoonroasted cumin seeds powder
- 1 tablespoonsugar
- 1 teaspoonsalt
- ½ teaspoonblack salt (optional) available in Indian grocery store
- ¼ teaspoonblack pepper powder
Directions
- In a large bowl add all the fruit and cucumber with the green chili and cilantro. Toss and set it aside.
- In a bowl add lemon juice, ginger juice, cumin seeds powder, salt, black salt, sugar and pepper powder and mix it well.
- Make sure that the sugar gets completely dissolve andpour the dressing over the fruits and serve it.
Tips
- You can use any variety of fruits in this chaat dish and try to include oranges and bananas, as they add a lot of color and texture to the dish.
