Minty Mint Ice Cream Recipe

The creaminess of ice cream and freshness of mint combines really well, resulting in a really aesthetic flavor and aroma. Naturally, this causes bursts of flavor as you allow the ice cream to melt on your taste buds. Try this recipe.
Ingredients
- 1/4 cupchopped mint leaves (phudina)
- a fewdrops peppermint essence
- 1/4 tspgreen food color
- 1 tbspcornflour
- 1/4 cupcold milk
- 2 cupsmilk
- 5 tbspsugar
- 1/4 cupmilk powder
- 1/2 cupfresh cream
- 1 tsplemon juice
Directions
- In a bowl add cornflour and cold milk and mix it well and keep it aside.
- In a deep non-stick pan pour milk, sugar, cornflour-milk mixture and milk powder, mix it well and cook on a medium flame for 5 minutes and stir continuously.
- Cook for 2 to 3 minutes on a low flame and stir continuously or cook till it is thick and keep it aside for cooling down.
- Add the fresh cream, mint leaves, lemon juice, peppermint essence, and green food color to the milk mixture and mix it well.
- Pour the mixture into a shallow aluminum container. And cover with an aluminum foil and freeze for 6 hours or till semi-set.
- Pour the mixture into a mixer and blend until smooth.
- Transfer the mixture back into the same aluminum shallow container and cover with an aluminum foil and freeze for approx. 10 hours or till set.
- Scoop it on a serving bowl and serve immediately.
