Paneer In White Gravy Recipe
Deliciously soft paneer in a rich and luscious gravy in a rich, which is sure to make your main course very special. The spices give this dish its special aroma and unique mouth feel. To enjoy the maximum aroma and flavor serve the Paneer In White Gravy with roti.
Ingredients
- 1-1/2 cupsfresh paneer (cottage cheese) cubes
- 2 tbspghee
- 1 tspgaram masala
- 1/2 tbspfresh cream
- 1/2 tbspmilk
- saltto taste
To Be Ground Into a Smooth Paste
- 1 cuproughly chopped onions
- 10-15broken cashew nuts (kaju)
- 6garlic (lehsun) pods
Directions
- Blend broken cashew nuts, chopped onions, and garlic into a smooth paste.
- Heat ghee in a kadhai, add the blended paste and saute on a medium flame for 2 minutes.
- Add garam masala, cream, milk, salt and 2 tbsp of water and cook on a medium flame for 2 to 3 minutes, while stirring occasionally.
- Add the paneer and ¼ cup of water, mix gently and cook on a medium flame for 1 to 2 minutes and stir occasionally.
- Serve hot.
