Stuffed Methi Paneer Pakora Recipe
Stuffed Methi Paneer Pakoras are a flavorful and delicious snack especially when it is served with a hot cup of tea. They are easy and quick to make. These pakoras are crispy, crunchy, and has a wonderful flavor. Let’s follow this recipe.
Ingredients
For The Covering
- 2 tbspoil
- 1-1/4 cupsfinely chopped fenugreek (methi) leaves
- saltto taste
- 1/2 tspturmeric powder (haldi)
- 2 tspfinely chopped green chilies
- 1 cupbesan (Bengal gram flour)
- oilfor deep-frying
To Be Mixed Into A Stuffing
- 1 cupgrated paneer (cottage cheese)
- saltto taste
- 1 tspfinely chopped green chili es
- 10-15raisins (kismis)
Directions
For the covering
- Step1Heat the oil in a deep kadhai, add the fenugreek leaves and fry on a medium flame for 30 seconds.
- Step2Add the salt, turmeric powder, green chilies, besan, and 1 cup of water, mix it well and cook on a slow flame for 3 to 4 minutes and stir continuously.
- Step3Switch off the flame and keep it aside to cool.
For The Stuffing
- Step1In a bowl add grated paneer, salt, chopped green chili, raisin and mix it nicely and divide the stuffing into equal portions and keep it aside.

How to proceed
- Step1Divide the covering into equal portions and roll each portion into a round ball in between your palms.
- Step2Press a little in the center of each round to make a depression and place a portion of the stuffing in the center of each round and roll again to form a ball.
- Step3Heat the oil in a non-stick pan and deep-fry a few pakoras at a time and fry till they turn golden brown in color from all the sides.
- Step4Drain on absorbent paper and serve it with sweet chutney.
