Gajar ka Halwa Recipe
Gajar ka Halwa is a quick and easy Indian carrot pudding, a traditional Indian sweet dish which can be enjoyed any time in the day. This halwa has rich flavor and taste and a creamy texture. Try this yummy hawla for your family members.
Ingredients
- 3 cupsgrated carrot
- 1/4 cupmelted ghee
- 5 tbspsugar
- 1/2 cupcrumbled mawa (khoya)
- 1/2 tspcardamom (elaichi) powder
For The Garnish
- 10-15almond (badam) slivers
Directions
- Step1Heat the ghee in a deep non-stick kadhai, add the carrots, mix it well and cook on a medium flame for 6 to 8 minutes and stir continuously.
- Step2Add the sugar, mix it well and cook on a medium flame for 2 minutes and stir continuously.
- Step3Add the mawa, mix it well and cook on a medium flame for 3 minutes and stir continuously.
- Step4Add the cardamom powder and mix it well and cook for few more minutes.
- Step5Garnish with almond slivers and serve it and enjoy.
