Apollo Fish Fry Recipe
The specialty of this dish is that it is prepared with large fishes, boneless fillets. No garam masala and sauces are used for this preparation and yet it tastes simply superb with no smell at all. Ingredients
- 400 gmBoneless Fish Fillet
- 3 tspCorn Flour
- 2 tspPlain Flour
- 1 BunchCoriander Leaves
- OilFor Deep Frying
Marination
- 2 tspGinger Garlic Paste
- 1 tspTurmeric Powder
- 2 tspRed Chili Powder
- 2Egg White
- 3 tspLemon Juice
- Saltto taste
Seasoning
- 2 tspGinger
- 2 tspGarlic
- 3 SprigsCurry Leaves
- 5Green Chilies
- 2 BigOnions
Directions
- Wash the fish and cut into small pieces and chop onions, chilies, coriander leaves, ginger and garlic
- Pour the lemon juice and salt over the fish and keep aside for 10 min
- Marinate the fish with the ingredients mentioned under marination and keep aside for 40 min to 3 hours.
- Heat the oil for deep-frying and sprinkle corn flour and plain flours and mix it well.
- When the oil is hot, reduce the heat to medium level and then deep fry the fish pieces until done and keep it aside on an absorbent tissue paper.
- Heat 2 tsp of oil in a pan and add curry leaves fry until crisp and add ginger garlic and green chilies and fry it.
- Add chopped onions and fry till lightly brown in color.
- Add the fried fish and saute on high flame for 5 min.
- Garnish with the sliced onions and coriander leaves at the top and serve hot.
