Healthy Sprout and Fruit Bhel Recipe

Ingredients
For The Masala Puffed Rice
- 1 cuppuffed rice (kurmura)
- 1/2 tspoil
- 1/2 tspcumin seeds (jeera)
- a pinchof asafoetida (hing)
- 1/4 tspturmeric powder (haldi)
- 1/2 tspblack salt (sanchal)
- 1/4 tspchili powder
Other ingredients
- 1/2 cupfresh pomegranate
- 1/2 cuporange segments, cut into halves
- 1/2 cupfinely chopped tomatoes
- 1/2 cupboiled mixed sprouts (matki, green moong dal, chana etc.)
- 1/2 cupchopped apples
- 3 tbspchopped raw mango
- 1/4 cupfinely chopped coriander (dhania)
- 4 tsplemon juice
- saltto taste
Directions
For the masala puffed rice
- Heat oil in a broad non-stick pan and add the cumin seeds.
- When the seeds crackle, add asafoetida, turmeric powder and puffed rice, mix it well and cook on a medium flame for 1 minute.
- Add black salt and chili powder, mix it well and cook on a medium flame for 30 seconds.
- Allow it to cool completely.
How to serve
- In a bowl add masala puffed rice, pomegranate, orange segments, chopped tomatoes, boiled mixed sprouts, raw mango, chopped coriander, lemon juice and salt and mix well.
- Serve it.
