Easy and Tasty Boondi Raita Recipe
Boondi Raita is one of the tastiest raita anyone can prepare in minutes and pair up with Biryani or aloo paratha for delicious dinner. This raita is crunchy, soft and creamy. Let’s follow this easy and tasty recipe.
Ingredients
- 1 cupBoondi( easily available in the market
- 1-1/2 cupsYogurt
- 1/2 teaspoonSalt
- 1/2 teaspoonBlack salt
- 1/2 teaspoonRoasted cumin seed powder
- 1/4 teaspoonRed chili powder
- 1 tablespoonMint leaves chopped
- Fewmint leaves to garnish
Directions
- Soak boondi in the warm water for about 10 minutes.
- Lightly squeeze the boondies with your palm, don’t mash them.
- Whisk the yogurt in a bowl and if yogurt is too thick then add water as needed.
- Yogurt should be in the consistency of pancake or dosa batter.
- Add red chili powder, cumin powder, salt, black salt, and chopped mint leaves mix it well.
- Add the boondi and mix it well.
- Garnish boondi raita with mint leaves.
Boondi raita can be served cold or at room temperature with aloo paratha.
