How to make Dahi Ke Kabab Recipe
Dahi ke kebab is a classic Indian appetizer. This kebab is a super delicious and healthy too. This kebab is quite different from other kebabs because it has a unique texture which is not crispy but soft and creamy. Enjoy this unique starter with any chutney of your choose.
Ingredients
- 3 cupsHung yogurt
- 1 mediumOnion chopped
- 1 inch pieceGinger chopped
- 3-4Green chilies chopped
- 1/2 teaspoonTurmeric powder
- 1 teaspoonRed chili powder
- 1 teaspoonGaram masala powder
- 1/2 tablespoonDry fenugreek leaves (kasoori methi)
- Saltto Taste
- Freshcoriander leaves chopped -2 tablespoons
- 1 cup+1/4 cupCornflour/ corn starch for rolling
- Oil todeep fry
Directions
- In a bowl add hung yogurt, onion, ginger, green chilies, turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala powder, kasoori methi powder, salt and coriander leaves and mix it well.
- Add one cup of cornflour to curd mixture and mix it well and keep it aside.
- Divide into twelve equal portions and wet your hands, take a portion of the mixture, roll lightly in cornflour and shape into a kebab (one centimeter thick round).
- Heat sufficient oil in a kadhai and deep fry the kebabs till golden in color.
- Remove and place onto an absorbent paper and serve hot with a chutney or sauce.
