Easy Corn and Spinach Paratha Recipe
This Corn and Spinach Paratha is simple and easy to prepare. This corn and spinach filled paratha keep your child satisfied till the next meal and it will solve your woes as your child will consume nutritious spinach and corn. Let’s follow the recipe.
Ingredients
For The Dough
- 1 cupwhole wheat flour (gehun ka atta)
- 1/4 tspsalt
- 1 tspoil
- 3 tspmelted butter or oil for cooking
For The Spinach Corn Stuffing
- 3 cupsfinely chopped spinach (palak)
- 1 cupboiled sweet corn kernels (makai ke dane)
- 2onions , chopped
- 2green chilies, chopped
- 2 tspoil
- saltto taste
Directions
For the dough
- Mix all the ingredients in a bowl and add enough water to make a soft dough.
- Divide the dough into 10 portions and roll out each portion into very thin 150 mm diameter rounds.
For the spinach corn stuffing
- Heat oil and fry the onions for 1/2 minute and add green chilies and fry for few seconds.
- Add the spinach and cook for 2 minutes and drain the water from the spinach and add corn and salt.
How to proceed
- Cook each paratha on a tawa (griddle) very lightly for a few seconds..
- Put a portion of the stuffing in each paratha and fold into a semi-circle. Arrange on a greased baking tray.
- Brush the parathas lightly with butter or oil and bake in a hot oven at 200 degree c (400 degree f) until light pink in color (about 5 minutes).
- Alternatively, cook on a tawa (griddle) on both sides and brush lightly with butter or oil. Serve hot.
