Easy Tava Mushroom Recipe
Tava Mushroom is a simple, quick and easy recipe. Everything is made on a tava and an easy one pan dish. You can make this dish for breakfast, brunch or main course. Let’s try this recipe.
Ingredients
- 1 tbspplain flour (maida)
- 6 cupsfresh mushrooms (khumbh) halves
- 1 tbspghee
- 1/2 cupgrated onions
- 1 tbspginger-garlic (adrak-lehsun) paste
- 1/2 tspgaram masala
- 1 tspchili powder
- 1/2 tspcoriander (dhania) powder
- 1/2 cupfresh tomato puree
- 1 tbspdried fenugreek leaves (kasoori methi) , dry roasted
- Saltto taste
- 2 tbspfresh cream
- 2 tbspchopped coriander (dhania) for the garnish
Directions
- Step1Sprinkle the plain flour over the mushrooms and keep it aside.
- Step2Heat the ghee in a tava and add onions and saute till they turn brown in color.
- Step3Add ginger-garlic paste and saute again for a minute.
- Step4Add garam masala, chili powder, and coriander powder and saute for a minute.
- Step5Add tomato puree and saute till the tomato thickens.
- Step6Add mushrooms, dried fenugreek leaves, and salt and cook for a few minutes.
- Step7Sprinkle a little water while cooking to prevent the masala from burning.
- Step8Switch off the flame and add the cream and mix it well.
- Step9Garnish with coriander and serve hot.
- Mushroom is a good source of proteins, vitamins, minerals, amino acids, antibiotics, and antioxidants.
- Mushroom includes relief from high cholesterol level, breast cancer, prostate cancer, and diabetes.
