Milky Milk Peda Recipe
Milk Peda is a popular Indian sweet that is traditionally prepared with milk/condensed milk. This is one of the easiest sweet that you can make anytime. Pedas are like soft milk fudge. This can be served as a candy or as a dessert. Let’s follow this Milky Milk Peda Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 can or 1-1/3 cup condensed milk
- 1 cupmilk powder
- 1 tbspghee / clarified butter
- 4medium cardamom
- fewalmondst
Directions
- Finely chop few almonds and keep it aside and also powder the cardamom before making milk pedas.
- In a thick bottomed pan add condensed milk and milk powder and mix properly so that there are no lumps.
- Now switch on the flame and keep stirring on a low flame.
- Add cardamom powder and keep on stirring.
- Cook until the mixture starts to leave the sides of the pan.
- Add chopped almonds or any dry fruits of your choice.
- Once it starts leaving the sides of the pan, add ghee and give a quick mix.
- Keep on cooking until a thick mass is formed and to test, take a small portion and you should be able to form a ball.
- Switch off the flame and cool it down for 5 min.
- Grease your hands with ghee and take a small lemon sized portion and start making a ball, slightly flatten it.
- Make a small dent in the center, place the almond and arrange on a clean plate.
- Your milk peda is ready.
