Eggless Chocolate Mousse Recipe
Eggless Chocolate Mousse is a very easy, rich and delicious dessert that you can make in a jiffy. This recipe is perfect for house parties and family gathering. This dessert is loved by people of all age group.
Ingredients
- 1 cupRoughly Chopped Dark Chocolate
- 1/4 cupMilk
- 1/4 tspVanilla Essence
- 1 tbspPowdered Sugar
- 1 3/4Beaten Whipped Cream
- 2 tspHoney
For The Garnish
- Gratedchocolate
Directions
- Combine the chocolate and milk in a microwave-safe bowl and microwave on high power for 30 seconds.
- Remove it and mix well until no lumps remain.
- Strain the mixture using a sieve and keep it aside.
- Combine the sugar and ¾ cup beaten whipped cream in a deep bowl and mix it gently.
- Add the chocolate–milk mixture to whipped cream mixture and mix it gently.
- Add the vanilla essence and honey and mix it gently.
- Pour equal quantities of the mixture into individual bowls/glasses and refrigerate for at least 1 to 2 hours or till the mousse sets.
- Top each bowl/ glass with a ¼ cup of whipped cream and garnish with chocolate and serve chill.
Tip:
- You can also melt the chocolate-milk mixture on a double boiler.
Variation:
For rich mint chocolate mousse
At step 6, instead of vanilla essence, add 2 tsp of peppermint essence, mix well and proceed as per the recipe.
